In recent months I have helped out a number of Capri owners from the Hounslow, Heathrow, Staines and Enfield area by releasing many NOS Genuine Capri parts. These parts had been collected by me over the past 10 years and formed an essential piece of my 280 restoration service.

Since parting with these items I have had the odd occasion to request some assistance in a reciprocal fashion from each of the people I've assisted. Only one person I've asked has ever bothered to respond to my requests.

This has been disappointing and as such I will no longer offer any gen Ford parts under similar circumstances again.

I realise now it's a one-way street and it's been a learning curve.

So, please resist the urge to ask me if I have any Capri parts for sale - other than what might be listed on this page. Thanks.

Ford MotorSport RS body kit for Capri 2.8i, 280, MK3.

FOR SALE

A one-off super rare Ford Motor Sport RS body kit as fitted by dealers to new Capri's.

Only ever seen 2 of these kits - both on Capri 280's and one of them owned by me.

I have the complete kit for sale including:-

All door, skirt and wing flares.

Rear twin wing Turbo tail

Front Zakspeed style air dam.

Gap rubbers.

Currently colour coded in Brooklands Green but obviously would need painting to match your car.

This kit is the only one designed by Ford MotorSport division for the Capri MK3. It offers marked improvement in straight line speed. The front and rear spoilers work in conjunction with each other.

Turbo Technics stickers

For those of you who have a Turbo Technics car with uprated front brakes and who may have a damaged or lost engine bay warning notice - well Dr Brooklands to the rescue!

I have a limited number of brand new exact replicas of the Turbo Technics front brake decals for sale.

They have been produced exact as the originals and with permission of Turbo Technics of Northampton.

If your Capri, Escort, Sierra, Lotus, or indeed any car that has uprated front brakes but is missing the sticker I have two options for you:-

1. A decal for the Turbo Technics 230 bhp for uprated brakes and pads TT 6243 and discs TT 6209 (as fitted to the Capri 230 bhp version)

2. A decal that does not specify the Pad or Disc number - so you can enter your own (using a fine point permanent marker and a stencil for perfect results) It will not be possible to use inkjet on these decals as they are specially coated for engine bay protection.

They are made in high quality vinyl with strong self adhesion.
